Responding to an alarm by our Central Station Monitoring
Service When an emergency situation (fire, hold-up, intrusion
or other) occurs at your business, your system immediately goes to
work. In seconds, our digital communication equipment electronically
interprets the initiated situation, automatically dials our
emergency computer number and audibly alerts our operators to an
alarm condition. Your unique customer information and distinct,
situation code will appear on a visual display, allowing us to take
prompt, decisive action.
- For intrusion: Our operator notifies the police
department, gives the name and address of the customer being
displayed, and the exact time that the intrusion code was
received. If the customers system transmitted an immediate reset
code, telling the operator that the system may have been
inadvertently activated, the police are called first, and then the
customer. If the customer answers the telephone and submits his or
her password, the police are immediately called back and the
dispatch is cancelled. If the correct password is not given, the
police will arrive on schedule.
- For panic or hold-up: Our operator notifies the
proper authorities immediately. Any other additional person(s) can
be notified as requested.
- For Fire: Our operator notifies the Fire
Department immediately, along with the location being received.
